Conclusion: Namibia's campsites are gateways to a world that ignites the senses, stirs the soul, and leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those who venture here. From the ethereal beauty of Sossusvlei to the haunting landscapes of the Skeleton Coast, Namibia offers a truly unique camping experience. The campsites scattered across this remarkable country provide a connection to nature that is both profound and rejuvenating. Whether you seek adventure, seek solitude, or seek a deeper understanding of the natural world, Namibia's campsites are waiting to welcome you. So pack your tent, dust off your camping gear, and let Namibia's wild embrace awaken your spirit. The magic of Namibian campsites awaits, ready to weave its spell and create memories that will linger long after you've returned home. Other places to keep in mind? Camp Cornie a few kilometres from Epupa Falls – lovely campsite on the banks of the Kunene River. Toshari and Eldorado – Just outside the South gate of Etosha. Okaukuejo camp in Etosha is one of our favourites there. We have found recently that is is fully booked so please enquire ahead. Khaudum North campIt's important to note that due to its remote location and limited tourist infrastructure, Khaudum National Park may not be as easily accessible or well-suited for first-time visitors or those seeking a more conventional safari experience. However, for those who appreciate untouched wilderness, solitude, and a sense of adventure, Khaudum National Park can be a remarkable destination to explore the natural beauty and wildlife of Namibia. The road from the North gate B8 took us over 2 hours for 40km. Always important in Namibia to not calculate time and distance like you would in other places – sandy roads etc can change those times.

Ugab Terrace Lodge:

Perched atop a sandstone plateau in the heart of Damaraland, Ugab Terrace Lodge offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. captured our attention here is the Ziplining and the Terraces that can be seen from the top as well as a rock pool.

The zipline is one of the longest. Long line 880m and the short line 630 m. They made us feel safe and relaxed and everything got tested before the guests went on. Handled very professionally.
